Wendell Dean Maiden, age 60 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was born June 2, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Donald and Lizzie Maiden.
He is preceded in death by his son, Dean Maiden; father, Donald Maiden; and brother, Randall Maiden.
Wendell is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jackie; mother, Lizzie Maiden; brother, Timothy (Cheryl) Maiden; sisters-in-law, Joyce Baab, Jamie Porter (Tony); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Wendell loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing and hunting. He was a kind and thoughtful man and devoted husband who loved his family dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Dayton for the care and compassion they provided during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton, in Wendell's memory.
