Welma Osborn

Osborn, Welma J., age 83, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2008. Welma was a retired cook from the University of Dayton with over 15 years of service.

Welma is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Susan (Danny) Mackey of Greenfield, OH, Penny Hardin of Kettering, Peggy (John) Gibson of Tucson, AZ; son and daughter-in-law: John (Linda) Osborn of CA; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 step grandchildren; brothers: Thomas & James Short ; son-in-law: Gerald Green; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roger Osborn; parents: Edward & Maudie Short; grandson: Brent Green; sister Mary Belle Long; and brother Byron Short.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
