Weinard Jones

JONES, Weinard, age 94, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Helen; brothers, Truett, Lindell, and sister, Geraldine. Weinard is survived by his step-son, Jesse Richey of Huber Heights and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born in Midland, KY on the 28th day of February in 1912. He graduated from Graham High School in 1932. He retired from Simonds Worden White Co. after 35 years of service and from DESC after 12 years of service. Weinard was a Navy WWII Veteran. Weinard was also a 60 year member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
