Wayne D. Turpin, age 89, of Dayton, OH passed away on Saturday December 29, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Doshie Turpin; wife, Elizabeth Turpin; son, Delmas Turpin, and grandchildren, David Patrick, Billy and Craig.
Survivors include his daughters, Diana Goforth, Linda (Lonnie) Hollis, Rita (Mike) Dunn, and Patricia Collins; sons, Jack Turpin (Ellie Adams), Delbert (Edith) Turpin, David Goforth, and Gary (Joyce) Goforth; special granddaughter, Missy; 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; siblings, Thelma, Cheyneer, Beacher, and Nolan; and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was an US Army MP veteran serving during WWII.
Visitation is Thursday January 3, 2013 from 9am to 10am with funeral service starting at 10am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Pastor Bill Henderson is officiating.
Interment is in Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
