Wayne Shouse, age 85, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed away December 2, 2020. He was born March 4, 1935 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Fred and Bessie (Hall) Shouse.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years in June of 2013, Barbara (McDaniel) Shouse. Wayne is survived by his two children, Ken (Kathy) Shouse, Janet (Dave) Croley; grandchildren, Andy (Brooke) Shouse, David Croley, Nick (Katie) Shouse, Angie (Adam) Egbert; great-grandchildren, Fiona, Lukin, Nathan, and Adelyn Shouse, Kenten, Kolden, Kennedy Egbert; sister, Vivian (Raymond) Turner; brother, Leroy (Diane) Shouse, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was retired from GM/Harrison Radiator after 32 years of service. He was very proud to be a volunteer Fireman for the City of Moraine for many years. Shortly after his retirement Wayne and Barbara moved to their dream farm in Bronston, Kentucky where they raised tobacco and cattle. After more than 30 years he moved back to South of Dayton to be with his family. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time at his cabin at Lake Cumberland as well as woodworking. He will always be remembered for his ability to make others laugh, his work ethic and his drive to accomplish whatever he set his mind to.
