Wayne P. Isaacs
Age 65, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 12, 1941 in Laurel, Delaware to Chester S. & Gertrude Alice (Wood) Isaacs. In addition to his parents he was also preceded by two brothers, James E. and Robert H. Isaacs. Wayne is survived by his wife the past 10 years, Patricia A. (Apsokardu) Isaacs; one sister, Sue (& husband, Robert) Nohacs of Dayton; sisters-in-law, Linda, Alyce and Donna of Pennsylvania; and by nieces and nephews. Wayne was a member of the United Methodist Church of Churchill Maryland, a member of the American Legion and the Moose and Eagles Lodges. From 1958 to 1962 he served in the United States Coast Guard. During his career he sold modular homes. Wayne was also a very talented pool player and at one time played with Jackie Gleason and other notable pool players. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., Thursday. If friends desire contributions may be made in memory of Wayne to Hospice of Dayton.
