Wayne Herman Mercer

Mercer, Wayne Herman, age 64, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Wayne retired from General Motors as a Union Rep. with over 20 years of service. Wayne is survived by his sons: Thomas & Bryan Mercer both of Carlisle; daughter: Diane Mercer of Carlisle; granddaughter: Avory Mayenschein; mother: Mary Virginia (Lamp) Mercer of Centerville; sisters: Elaine Wiedenheft, Joyce Beavin both of Centerville, Lorene Cast of Springfield; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Herman Mercer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 22 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the services at Willowview Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
