Wayne E. Davis, age 61, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on March 6, 2023. He was born in Dayton on November 22, 1961 to James and Colleen Davis.
Wayne was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Sherman in November 2021. He is survived by his parents: James and Colleen; life partner: Frankie Graham; siblings: Brenda (Sam) Lambros and James (Colleen) Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Wayne was a man who opened his home to strangers in need of food and clothing and gave them shelter from the rain. He was the most non judgmental person we ever knew who loved with his whole heart. He had a lifelong passion for horses and a love for his fur babies that was undeniable.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:00am and will be officiated by Pastor Bud McKinney. Wayne will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery.
