Driver, Warren W., 89, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Warren had a degree from the University of Dayton, a Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary, and studied mathematics while living in California. He played violin for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra for many years and was involved in the Dayton area music community. Warren also played violin for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra and was an Assistant Concert Master. He volunteered his time playing the violin at the Gospel Mission in Dayton. Warren was a retired school teacher and also served as a Pastor at a church in OK and preached at a church in Dayton. An Army Veteran proudly serving our country during WWII with the 102nd Ozark Division which participated in the Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. He was preceded in death his parents, Caris E. and Lillibelle H. Driver, brother, Russell Driver, and sister, Jean Coy. Survivors include his 3 sons, Jonathan, Joel, and Mark; sister in law, Mary Lou Driver; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. where funeral service will be held 10:30am Thursday , January 24, 2013. Burial to follow in Mt.
