Warren Lee Penick

Warren "Uncle Warren" Penick, 82, of Dayton, passed away June 27, 2017. Warren was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 25, 1934 to the late Russell and Grace Penick. Warren retired from the City of Dayton after several years of service. He was a proud member of the 4H Club and enjoyed breeding and showing rabbits. He also was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. In his free time he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his sister in law, Shirley Sparks; and several nieces, nephews and special longtime friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 2:30pm.
