HUTSON, WARREN M.
Born January 3, 1922; died peacefully at home on December 31, 2007
Warren was a devoted and loving husband and dad. He was preceded in death by his mother (Virginia) and father (James) along with 7 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years (Vera) and his children – Joyce (Bill) Huff; Janet (Arlis) Lawson; Hargus (Judi) Howard and George (Phyllis) Howard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren (1 deceased) and 9 great-grand children. His brother, Coleman (Dorothy) Hutson and sister Georgia (Chester) Bailey also survive him.Warren served in World War II in Company C; 9th Armory Engineer Battalionwhere he was highly decorated with 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member of VFW Post 2800.Warren loved hunting, fishing, bowling and gardening. His true love was his family and friends and he will be greatly missed. Our family would like to thank all the Hospice care givers (especially Gail, Jan, Belinda and Michelle) who gave excellent care to our Dad. Visiting hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home – 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio.The funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Vaught on Friday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are given to Hospice of Dayton.
