WALKER, WANDA S., 73, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Kettering Memorial Hospital.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Wanda loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a highly creative basket weaver, sewed cross stitch and was an avid golf player whom recently made a "Hole-n-One". As she goes ahead of us with Christ, her generous loving heart and warm smile will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Gertrude Gayheart and brother Carlie Gayheart. Wanda is survived by her children Tom Walker, Steve Walker, and Sandi Walker; grandchildren Shane Walker, Alisha Walker, Dustin Walker, Luke Walker, and Katie Brooks; brother Lester Gayheart; niece April Derks; nephew Lester Gayheart Jr.; many other family and friends.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Cemetery Restoration Fund in Wanda's name.
Family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00PM Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Woodland Cemetery (Dayton, Ohio).
