Wanda Tompkins

Wanda M. Tompkins (Davidson), 82, of Huber Heights, passed away August 31, 2005, at Heartland of Piqua. She is preceded in death by her dear husband Edward "Hack" Tompkins, both parents, a brother and a sister. A beloved mother and grandmother, her memory will be lovingly honored and cherished by her family and friends. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bill Vogt of Piqua, son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Jan Tompkins of Riverside, special son, Mark Tompkins of Piqua; granddaughters Renee Haney, Lara Brown, Aimee Berninger, and Leah Lykins; six great-grandchildren; sister Ada Leedy of Southpoint, dear friend Delora Taralton of Columbus, and devoted friend Dale Petry of Tipp City. A "Home Kid" from Tiffin, Ohio, she had many "siblings in spirit" and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Tuesday September 6, 2005 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m. at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
