Wanda Pinkston

Pinkston, Wanda L., 88, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Hospice House of Dayton. She was born May 10, 1927 in Morgan County, KY, daughter of Ruby and Hazel Elam Smith; and is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Dorleen Simpkins, Helen Hammonds, Jeanetta Brooks, Charlotte Lee Banks, and brothers George, Kelly, and Darryl. Wanda is survived by her brothers Elwood (Ruth Ann), Bill (Jan), Dale (Betty), sister Sue Nickell, her previous husband Paul Pinkston, daughter Lorraine Miller, granddaughter Laura (Sean), two great-granddaughters Layla Raine and Stella, and many, many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 15 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Visitation will be from 12:30pm until time of service. Burial will be in the Byron Cemetery.
