Wanda May Matta
November 16, 1925 — February 4, 2021
Wanda May Matta, age 95, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph Matta; sons Thomas Joseph Matta Jr. and Raymond Dean Matta; daughter, Marlene Adele DeBord; and granddaughter, Melissa Sue Dalton-Baker.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann White, Susan M. Dalton and husband, Edward F. Dalton and Charlene T. Del Turco; 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, traveling, cooking and spending time with her grandkids.
Wanda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439. The service will follow at 11 am. Wanda will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Wanda's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
