Boswell, Wanda L., of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton after a courageous 2 year 3 month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born December 8, 1939 in Dayton to Alex and Obera (Adams) Wirth. She was preceded in death by both parents, as well as sons Michael and Gregory Bucklew, and brothers Alexander "Bud" and William Wirth. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Larry, her son Rick Bucklew of Kettering, her brother Gerald Wirth of Miamisburg. Her step daughters are Shelia (Matt) Rugh, Cyndi (Mark) Robertson and Julianne (Darin) McManamay, all of Springfield, and step son Jeffery (Abby) Boswell of Springfield. Grandsons are Ryan (Lindsey) Boyer, Sean (Julie) Boyer, Tate Robertson and Reece Boswell. Granddaughters are Jessica and Jamie Rugh, and Lauren and Lindsey Whitaker. Wanda was also very proud of her six great grandchildren: Courtney, Caleb, David, Sydney, Abbey, and Andy. Wanda graduated from Patterson Co-op High School, was retired from Fifth Third Bank after 15 years, and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Her passions in life were her great love and concern for her family and for all animals. Wanda had many wonderful and caring friends. She was actually a friend to everyone that met her. Her special friends are Jennifer Holland and Penni Hibbard. Private graveside services for family only will be held at the convenience of the family. A public memorial service with luncheon/reception will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Road, Dayton, Ohio 45439 with Pastor David Crapnell officiating.
