McNeal, Wanda Jean, age 69, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at her home. She was born November 11, 1938 in Morristown, TN, the daughter of James & Lilly (Stroud) Gillette. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred & Bob Gillette; sisters, Flora Drinnon & Cleo Snowden; and lifelong companion, Wilbur Woods. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Quevee Gillette of Morristown, TN; children, Larry (Tracy) McNeal of Englewood, Kenneth (Teresa) McNeal of Covington, Mark McNeal of Dayton, Ronnie (Brenda) McNeal of Trotwood; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jennie, Joey, Teresann, April, Kenny, Laurissa, Ronnie Jr., Aaliyah; great grandchildren, Josh, Krystal, Jason, Harley, & Levi; brothers, Mutt (Ruth) Gillette of Lima, Charles Gillette of Lima; sisters, Bertie Smith of Morristown, Bea (Wilbur) Behr of Wapakoneta, Ginny Dawson of Charleston, SC, Pearl Ashley of Morristown, TN; special acknowledgment to her niece and best friend, Dorothy (Harry) Clay of McGuffy, OH; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, 5301 Olive Rd., Trotwood, OH, with Rev. Dr. Hence C. Coats officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12 PM until the time of services.
