Wanda Lee Goens

Wanda L. Goens, age 80 of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2017. Wanda was born in McKee, KY to the late Allen and Rebecca Holcomb. Wanda married Earl Dwight Goens in 1958. She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving puzzles and dancing in her free time.

She had a great appreciation for nature, loved sunsets and animals. Wanda took great pride and joy in her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, E. Dwight Goens in 1975; 7 sisters and 2 brothers.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memory, children, Scott (Julie) Goens, April (Klay Snyder) Goens-Snyder; Troy Goens; and Kyle (Stephanie) Goens; grandchildren, Andrea (Jonathan) Betz, Justin Snyder, Jacob Snyder, Megan Goens, and Kiley Goens; great-grandchildren, Noah, Levi, and Peter; sister-in-law, Donna Montgomery; loving friend and companion, Gregg Reed; and many other loving relatives and friends.
