Wanda Lou Gidley
June 9, 1945 — November 29, 2020
Wanda Gidley age 75 of Xenia, Ohio went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on November 29, 2020. She was born June 9, 1945 in Fremont, Michigan daughter of the late Leonard and Elsie Heffron.
Wanda was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. While living in Michigan, Wanda and Merle were active members at Green Country Church in Morley. She was always active with volunteering for summer camps, church activities, and local High School Sports Boosters. After moving here from Michigan, Wanda and Merle became members at Bible Baptist Church where she was involved in the Senior Saints Ministry. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and canning. Wanda took great joy in sponsoring several children from the LightHouse Children's Home.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 50 1/2 years, Merle Gidley; brother, Keith Heffron.
Wanda is survived by her loving children, Ricki (Tom) Amsing, Randell (Lisa) Gidley, and Merlin (Belinda) Gidley; grandchildren, Travis (Kathrine) Hartline, Brandi Gidley, Tanner Hartline, Jacob Gidley, Colton Gidley, Chester Gidley. and Gabrielle Amsing; great grandchildren, Hadley and Oliver Hartline; special daughter, Carrie (Jack) Myers; brother's, Denver (Pat) Heffron, Foy Heffron; brother-in-law Stanford (Diana) Gidley; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 11am to 12 noon at Bible Baptist Church, 1679 West Second Street, Xenia, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon at Bible Baptist Church.

Burial will take place at a later date in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Wanda's honor to Bible Baptist church.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
