Wanda Janet Moore Fee, born to John and Kathleen Moore June 25, 1934 in Meadowview, VA, peacefully went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 19, 2020.
She went to William King High School in Abbington, VA where she excelled in sports and became the Captain of the basketball team. Jan went to college at Lynchburg, VA and later graduated from Miami Jacobs in Dayton, Ohio. People have known her by Jan throughout her life. Jan was many things to many people, first a daughter, then a sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was the best in everything she did, including catering, cake decorating, church secretary, community activist, and a friend to those who had no friends. She tried to make everything better. No kid ever had a better mother or her 2 granddaughters a better grandmother. Jan let them use the bed as a trampoline, eat candy for breakfast and even wear cowboy boots to bed!
Jan lived an extraordinary Christian life and went on to her reward. She was an inspiration to countless people and touched many lives with her kind and loving spirit.
In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by Eula Virginia, Curtis, Becky, Junior, Lodi, Beebe. She will continue to be cherished in the hearts of her beloved family: her husband of 65 years, Willis K. "Pete" Fee; her daughter, Debby Martin and husband, Bill, her son, Pete Jr.; and her "adopted" son, Rob Forino; 2 granddaughters, Lauren Martin and fiancé, Brandon Schneck, and Sarah Whitaker and husband, Brad; her niece, KittyAnn Harris, and many other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Symphony at Centerville and Crossroads Hospice for the genuine loving care they gave to Jan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek 45432, with Pastor Paul Thacker officiating. Private interment at Valley View Memory Gardens.
