WATKINS, Walter G.

age 80 of Moraine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Walter was born November 10, 1924, the son of the late James and Genoa Watkins. He retired from the WPAFB Officer's Club after 38 years. He is survived by his sisters, Dixie (Jack) Henderson and Sarah Ruth Watkins, both of Athens, Tennessee; brothers, Sam (Oma) Watkins of Moraine, Ohio, Litton (Ada) Watkins of Brownsville, Texas, Torvert (Bonnie) Watkins of Knoxville, Tennessee, and John Watkins of Athens, Tennessee; special niece and nephew, Bertha Napier and Marvin Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will also receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Home, 521 West Madison Avenue, Athens, Tennessee.
