Age 60, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin & Sallie (Henson) Turner and by one brother, John Turner.
Walter is survived by his wife, Kathryn A. (McLeod) Turner; two sons, Brian Turner and Rodney Turner; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; three brothers, James, A.C. and Hobert & his wife, Lou Turner; six sisters, Marie & her husband, Ray Fannin, Norma & her husband, Junior Tomblin, Lil Turner, Geneva & her husband, Jeff Greene, Ella & her husband, Van Sparks and Vicky Turner; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 26, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Donald Godbey will officiate. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
