Walter T. Russell

Walter T. "Terry" Russell, age 56 of Dayton, passed away February 4, 2012. He was born December 16, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN to Walter E. and Joyce A. Russell.

Walter is survived by his parents; daughter, Teneisha; grandchildren: Iesha, Steven and Mike; brother, Jerry; and a host of aunt, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to his father's military career, Walter attended many different schools across the United States and abroad. He graduated in 1973 in Okinawa, Japan. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served for 12 years. He attended Green Vocational School and received his certificate for HVAC. He was employed for many years at AirTron Heating and Air Conditioning Company and more recently at Ohio Steel in Columbus, OH.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of the service. The family will greet friends beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be held at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery.
