Walter R. Smith

SMITH, Walter R., age 63, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006. He was born May 3, 1943 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Walter J. and Mary (Larimore) Smith. Walt worked for 43 years as a tool maker and mold polisher. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy (Bowles) Smith; one son Jeff Smith of Dayton; one brother, Bob Smith; one sister-in-law, Nancy (Gene) Carr; one brother-in-law, Roy (Barbara) Bowles; faithful companion, Shadow; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens
