Walter Lee Wilson age 82 of Dayton, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 21, 2014.
He was born August 24th, 1931 to George and Rosetta Wilson of West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his Wife Dorothy Wilson, parents, and 5 brothers.
Walter is survived by his son Walter Christopher Wilson of Canyon Country, CA and son and daughter-in-law Donald & Esther Wilson of Bonney Lake, WA; daughters and sons-in-law Darlene & Jose Chapa of Houston TX, Candy Davidson & Bob Willis of Dayton OH, Lucinda & Lynnie Anderson of Dayton, OH; brothers Isaac L. Wilson and Lonnie Wilson; sisters Gerose Cantrell and Roge Arbaugh; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Walter proudly served our country during the Korean War, he loved to hunt, fish, tell stories from the past and go to swap meets.
Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Dayton National Cemetery.
