Huber Heights, Ohio

Walter D. "Walt" Leach, age 90, of Huber Heights, passed away February 5, 2025. He was born December 12, 1934 in Speedwell, TN to the late Troy and Arletta Leach. In addition to his parents, Walt was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Leach.

Walt is survived by daughter, Sandy Price; granddaughters: Samantha and Savannah Price, all of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and son, Jack Leach of Phoenix, Arizona.

Walt retired from Reynolds and Reynolds after 37 years of service. 

Walt was a great husband and son; always caring for his wife and mother when they were ill. He was a devoted grandfather who adored and loved his granddaughters more than anything.

Walt had a dry sense of humor and was well liked by all who knew him. He was a great friend and neighbor and if you could make him laugh, he loved you.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Graveside service will follow at Willow View Cemetery. To share a memory of Walt or leave his family a special message please sign the online guestbook provided.
