Walter Charles Hunt, Jr., age 77 of Dayton, passed away June 4, 2013. He was born November 27, 1935 in Wilkes County, North Carolina to the late Walter C. and Hazel Hunt, Sr.
Walter is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Rush Hunt; children: Sheila (Raphael) Makiel and Lisa Hunt; step-son, Steve; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Josephine Jones and Kathryn (Robert) Dobson; brother, Leroy Hunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Walter was very proud of his accomplishments as a Master Builder and Mason. He helped to develop many skyscrapers in New York City.
Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Contributions may be made in Walter's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
