FRUEAUF, Walter H., age 83, passed away Thurs., Nov. 11, 2004 in Dayton, OH. Born in Havelock, NE on March 12, 1921. He was a resident of Friends Care Center, Yellow Springs, at the time of his death. Preceded in death by his parents John & Mollie; brothers Gustav, John, Art and Leon and sisters Frieda, Lillian and Martha. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Roberta (nee Allen); sister Betty Grover of Gainsville, FL; 4 sons Gregory & Fiance Ann Lisa Piercy, John & wife Lori, Rodney and Brent & wife Sandy; grandchildren Jeremiah & wife Anastazia, Joshua, Joseph, Jacob, Courtney and Tyler. Walter was a proud W.W.II veteran and recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was a loving and devoted husband, proud father and passionate family man. He enjoyed his years of scouting with his sons at Troup 153 of Dayton, where he also served as Scoutmaster. Walter was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, Dayton, and First Lutheran Church during the family's years in Strongsville, OH. He was a longtime employee of Harris-Seybold in Dayton and Cleveland and retired from Kysor Machine & Tool in 1986. Funeral services 12 Noon, Sat., Nov. 13, 2004 at Faith Lutheran Church 3315 Martel Dr. Pastor Steve Kimpel officiating. Interment Centerville Cemetery.
