September 29, 1935 — June 2, 2014
Walter E. "Buddy" Brown, age 78, of Kettering, OH passed away Monday June 2, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter E. and Violet E. Brown; daughters, Terri and Christine; and nephew, Jackie.
He is survived by his loving sister, Joanne (Jack) Whitesell; daughter, Vickie Savage; grandchildren, Carly and Mac; cousins, Terry Webb "Best Friend Ever", Linda (Marty) Tarkany, Marion (John) Taylor, Bonnie Hylton, Bab's Webb; other relatives and good friend Mike Bentz.
Walter loved Ohio State "Buckeye Football," NASCAR, and John Wayne "The Duke", was his favorite actor. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1953. He worked at McCall's for 25 years and retired from Woody's Market in West Carrollton.
Visitation is Tuesday June 10, 2014 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery.
