DUNLAP, Walter V., 89, of Beavercreek passed away Monday August 31, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents Miles D. and Myrtle Dunlap; brother Ellwyn Dunlap; sister Bonita Benz; wife of 44 years D. Mary; step daughter Marilyn "Mimi" Horvath; and granddaughter Anne Horvath. Walt is survived by his son and daughter-in-law George and Kathy Dunlap, of Bellbrook; daughter Susan K. Dunlap;, of Beavercreek; daughter by heart Kathryn Johnson, of Beavercreek; son-in-law Carroll A. Horvath, of Centerville; 9 grandchildren Jeremy, Christine, Mary, Teresa, Jane, Tony, Jackie, J.T., and Kaitlynn; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous friends and extended family of the Dayton Metro Library along with his beloved pets, past and present. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army Air Corps with services in WWII. Walt was a retired draftsman from Monsanto after 18 years and also retired from the Dayton Metro Library after 10 years. In honor of Walter the family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the charity of your choice. Private memorial and celebration will take place at Mount Tamalpais, California at the convenience of the family Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel.
