Walter C. Fosnot

Fosnot, Walter Charles,

Age 61, passed away in the arms of his loving wife on Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 13, 1953 to the late Charles and Frances Fosnot. He is preceded in death by brother, Larry Fosnot and sister, Saundra Fosnot.

He leaves behind his cherished family, beloved wife of 20 years, Crystal Fosnot; sons, Christopher S. (Erica) Kuhn of Lewisburg, Bryan Kuhn of Lewisburg, and Robert L. (Lisa) Kuhn of Eugene, OR; daughters, Brandi Fosnot (Robert Redd) of Huber Heights and Jenna (Jim) Cougar of Huber Heights; sister, Sharon (Gary) Strickland of Logan; brother-in-law, Mark Rosenthal of Bonn, Germany; 13 grandchildren; and numerous dear nieces and nephews.

Walter worked at Waste Management in Fairborn and retired after 24 years. After retirement he worked for Rumpke Waste part time. Walt was a family man who most enjoyed having his family around him; he had been organizing family reunions since 1993. He loved spending time in his man cave watching his beloved Browns and The Ohio State football games. Walt was an avid golfer with his best friend, Robert Smith "Smitty". He enjoyed attending his son, Christopher's football games; he attended every game since Pee-Wee and taught him to love and appreciate the game of baseball. He also never missed his grandson, Trevor's football games. Walt and his wife spent the last 24 years traveling the United States; he said "Work hard and then vacation and make it count". He will be missed by all those that knew him; he touched everyone's heart with the gift of love.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd.
