BUCHANAN, Walter James, 64, of Dayton, OH passed away Wednesday July 27, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Norma Buchanan; brother, Paul Buchanan; son, Walter Buchanan Ivy; daughter, Cathy Norma Buchanan; and aunt, Marine Merrett.
Survivors include daughter, Monika (Len) Hampton, grandchildren; Jalen and Jordan Hampton, sisters, Evelyn Buchanan and Thelma Buchanan; niece, Kimberly Miller, nephew, Paul "PJ" Buchanan Jr., and a host of cousins, friends, special friends, and loved ones.
Visitation is Wednesday August 3, 2011 from 5pm to 8pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Graveside service is Thursday August 4, 2011 at 10am at the Dayton National Cemetery.
