Walter B. Brent

Rev. Walter B. Brent of Kettering, Ohio was born to the late Walter and Grace Brent on December 2,1927, and went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2017.
During much of his adult life Walter served as an associate minister. First, for the First Baptist Church of Centerville Ohio, and then for Christ Community Church of Bellbrook, Ohio. During his tenure at Christ Community Church, due his leadership and that of Rev. Herb Hoover, and the contributions of the faithful congregation, a stately church was erected known today as Christ's Church located on Upper Bellbrook Rd. in Bellbrook Ohio.
Walter's parents and dear granddaughter, Alison Brent Tinnes, have preceded him in death.
Walter will be missed by, Greta, his wife of 68 years; his sisters Ruth (George) Buriff and Martha Pottinger; his sons John (Cheri) Brent and Timothy (Marianne) Brent; his grandsons T. Isaac Brent and Eli Brent; his grandson by marriage Brett Tinnes; and his great grandson Oliver Tinnes.
A memorial service will be announced at a future date.
