ABERTH, Walter Sr., age 89 of Dayton, OH passed away May 21, 2013. He was born in Canton, OH to the late Edna and Walter Aberth. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Aberth; and infant son, David Wayne Aberth.
Walter is survived by his devoted son and caregiver, Walter "Wally" Aberth Jr.; loving daughters, Pam (George) Bell and Patti (Jim) O'Brien; grandchildren, Melissa (Matthew) Franklin, Sarah Kovar; great-grandchildren, Eden and Kai; and many other loving relatives and friends.
He retired from DAP Inc. as vice president of new product development after over 3 decades of dedicated service. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and also served in the Army of God and was a faithful member and bus captain of Huber Heights Baptist Temple.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Like King David, Walter was a man after God's own heart. Walter modeled his life after his favorite Scripture verse, "With God all things are possible."
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Walter's name to the Huber Heights Baptist Temple Bus Fund.
