Walter A. Brannon
July 11, 1926 — September 28, 2012
Walter A. Brannon, age 86 of Centerville, passed away after a brief illness at Miami Valley Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2012.
Walter was a longtime employee of General Motors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne Brannon; children, Patricia Clements, Barbara (Bob) Pike, Timothy (Dawn) Brannon and Todd Brannon; brother, Boyce "Bobo" Brannon; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Brannon; sisters, Hazel Copeland and Leta Crabtree. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 5-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The memorial service will follow at 6pm.
Donations may be made in Walter's memory to the American Cancer Society.
