Wallace Minton

Wallace E. Minton, age 75 of Kettering, passed away on February 20, 2012. He was born on March 7, 1936 to the late Wallace and Helen Minton.

Wally is survived by his long time friend, Ann Pohlman; children, Scott (Rachel) Pohlman, Liz (Bill) Engelland and Suzy (Ross) Kuhns; grandchildren, Adam and Zoe Pohlman, P.J. and Anna Engelland and Nick, Abby and Keegan Kuhns; and many close friends.

Wally retired from the U.S. Post Office, where he worked as a letter carrier after 54 years of devoted service. Wally was a member of Kemp Road Baptist Church for 20 years.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 24, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday February 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial to take place at Woodland Cemetery. Donations may be made in Wally's memory to The Alzheimer's Association and The American Cancer Society.
