Age 81, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1925 in Beattyville, Kentucky.
Walker is survived by five children, Reba Gilbert, Steve Gilbert, Roy (& his wife, Valerie) Gilbert, Sheree (& her husband, Brian) Pheneger, Bryan Gilbert; the mother of his children, Wanda Walters; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, June Satterfield.
Walker worked for many years as a Department Store Manager for Goldman's.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
