William "Shane" Tincher, age 52 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his 3 daughters, and the mother of his daughters. He was born November 25, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Donnie and Garnettia Tincher.
Shane had a long career at General Motors, then reinvented himself at a later age after GM closed. He attended the International College of Broadcasting and followed his lifelong dream of going to iHeartMedia to work for WTUE. Following covid, Shane then began working for Sinclair Broadcasting group. When he wasn't working, you would find Shane at the lake, on the golf course, watching football, or strumming his guitar. Shane was more than a Van Halen fan, it was a lifestyle for him. From using the '5150' album cover to design his shoes, to naming his truck the 'Red Rocker' with the album cover on his license plate. He even went as far as naming his children to have their initials spell out S.A.M. like Sammy Hagar. Shane will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, and all around bold personality.
He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Grandma Hallie and Papaw Tincher, and his maternal grandparents Momom Ada and Grandpa Calmes.
Shane is survived by his 3 Daughters, Sydney Anne (Oscar) Sanchez, Allie Mae (Trent) Brewer, and Melody Shaine Tincher; grandchildren Oliver Jacob Sanchez, and Beau Nicholas Adam Brewer; parents Donnie and Garnettia Tincher; brother Donald William (Shelly) Tincher; Niece Kayla Elizabeth (Erik) Jenkins, and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
The family is requesting everyone to wear their favorite band t-shirt, Pittsburg Steelers gear, or "Sydney's daddy" (Cincinnati) Reds gear.
