W. Scott Stamper

Wendell Scott Stamper, age 44 of Springfield, passed away June 30, 2012. He was born March 19, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio to Wendell J. "Dale" Stamper and Ivetta Moorehead, who both survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Andy and Lillian Wright and Tommy and Kansas Stamper; and several uncles.
In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his wife, Penny Stamper; step-father, Mark Moorehead; children: Sierra Rosselott, Rachel (Mike) Heindl and Wade Stamper; granddaughter, Layla; sister, Michelle Bravard; nieces: Brook Bravard and Shelby Bravard; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday. Friend and Pastor Jody Mutter officiating. Burial to follow at Brown Cemetery in West Liberty, KY.
