W Frank Lewis

LEWIS, W. Frank, 86, of Huber Heights passed away peacefully Thursday May 8, 2008 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio to his parents, Harry and Fay Lewis. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Joseph and Robert Lewis. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 51 years, Thelma Lewis; daughter Michelle (Mark) Alexander; granddaughter Rachel Alexander; nephew Steven (Ava) Lewis and their children; and other family and friends. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp with service in WWII, ETO 8th and 9th Air Forces and Troop Carrier 1st Allied Airborne Army. He was a founding member of VFW Post #3283. Frank retired as a civilian from WPAFB after 37 years of service. He owned and operated Frank's Print Shop in Huber Heights for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30PM prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Dayton Memorial Park.
