Thompson, Dale W., passed away quietly in his sleep on January 13, 2013 at the age of 56.
He was preceded in death by his father: William Glen Thompson (Veteran WWII). He is survived by his loving mother: Mrs. Venglene Adams-Thompson; sister: Joy Ann (Ron) Enix; brothers: Charles K. "Charley", Michael "Red Bone", Roger Wayne & John Edward: nephew: Jason M. (Wendy) Thompson; his special friend and housemate: Ms. Diane Aughenbaugh; neighbor: Jimmie; numerous nieces: Tracy, Christie, Jennifer, Angelina & Karen; and friends: The Whites, Griffens, Haemmerles, Seales, the "Outlaws and Inlaws", and his dog Rocky.
Dale was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and his bright light was the United States Navy, with 4w PAC's, many MOS's and cooking being his joy. Special thanks to all of his caregivers at Dayton VA Primary Care Unit.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, Ohio. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
