W. Arlene Hurt
October 22, 1926 — April 23, 2014
Wilma Arlene (Underwood) Hurt, of Dayton, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Arlene Was born October 22, 1926 the daughter of William and Alma Underwood.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert E. Hurt Sr.; son, Robert "Bobby" E. Hurt Jr.; sisters, Ruth E. Frizell, Ruby L. Leonard; and a brother, Pete F. Underwood. Survived by special nephew Garry D. (Melinda) McCann.
Arlene is also survived by a host of many family and friends. Arlene retired from the City of Dayton (Street Maintenance) after 42 years of service.
Special thanks to Wood Glen Alzheimer Community. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Miami Valley Hospice, 2359 Miami Valley Drive, Dayton 45459.
Visitation from Noon-1 PM, Monday, April 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton where funeral services will begin at 1 PM Monday. Burial in New Carlisle Cemetery.
