Vurleen A. Guffey

December 5, 1937 — August 29, 2017

Vurleen "Bobbie" (Flohre) Guffey, 79 of Dayton departed this earthly world on 29 August 2017 and entered the Abha Kingdom where she is reunited with her husband, Dallas who passed on 29 August 2006.

As well as Dallas she is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eleanor Flohre.

Bobbie retired from the Beavercreek School System in 1995. She was a very active member and servant of the Baha'i Faith.

Survived by her son, Glenn Guffey (Diane Chastain) and daughter, Regina (Reggie) Swickard; her grandson Jacob Guffey and her eight great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Jeanine Beasley (Don), Jerry Florhre (Carol), Debra Foley (Pat), Robin (Rob) Florhre and a lifetime of friends and her loving Baha'i family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, 31 August at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road.

Funeral services will follow on Friday, 1 September at 12:30p at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Cemetery in Donnelsville, Ohio.
