Vivian Snyder

SNYDER, Vivian Fay (nee Goodman) age 81, of Kettering, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family Nov. 27, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; brother, Robert; sister Janet; and parents, Thelma and Robert Goodman. Vivian, a 1948 Roosevelt High School graduate, was a beloved sister, aunt, mother and grandmother who had worked as a real estate agent and for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. She is survived by her children, Tom (Jan) Snyder; Gail (Sam) Latham; Karen (Roy) Combs; Phil (Gina Amann) Snyder; Matt Snyder; grandchildren Josh Combs; Amber (Jason) Sturgill; Nick and Emily Latham; and Matthew and Logan Snyder; great-grandchildren Devon Combs; Anna, Addy, Jessa and Josie Sturgill; sisters Betty Ann (Don) Person; Brenda Goodman; brothers Kenneth, Gary and Bruce (Karin) Goodman; aunt Betty; special nieces Carol, Debbie and Sondra; a host of beloved nieces and nephews, special Bingo pals Peggy and Judy; and her little buddy, Chico. Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, followed by burial at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses or to Hospice of Dayton.
