Vivian L. Jackson

Vivian Jackson, age 82 of Riverside, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019. She was born May 30, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Earl and Dorothy Gibson.

Vivian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She is still "the boss" and will be remembered for her spunky personality.


In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter Jackson, Jr.; son, Herbert Earl Jackson, two grandchildren, Rachele Shrout and Harry Jackson Jr.

Vivian will be missed by her loving children, Walter III, Vivian and husband Steve, Cindy and husband Buddy, Barbara, Harry, Joann and husband Jim, Rockland and wife Barbara, Darren and wife Nikki, and Jerry; grandchildren, Kendra, Seth, Walter IV, Tim, Tasha, Ira Jr., Matt, Clyde, Chad, Michelle, Amy, Misty, Justin, Heather, Tabby, Candice, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Rockland, Little Darren II, Kari, Jeremy, Kellie, Nicholas, Courtney, Chad, Brittany, Brooke, Briana, Little Jerry Jr.; 46 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Bozarth; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
