Virginia M. Strausbaugh, age 89 passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born October 29, 1924 in Shirley, Indiana the daughter of Virgil and Marie McDaniel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Strausbaugh, her parents, and 9 siblings.
Virginia is survived by her Son - Francis H. Strausbaugh; 3 Grandsons - Jeff Strausbaugh, Phillip Strausbaugh, and Francis E. Strausbaugh; 2 Brothers - Robert McDaniel and Virgil McDaniel; Sister - Carolyn Bowling; 6 Great Grandchildren - Mara Strausbaugh, Nicholas Strausbaugh, Eric Wells, Brooke Strausbaugh, Dale Evans, and Joseph Strausbaugh; 3 Great Great Grandchildren - MJ Odum, Allura Wells, and Myla Bellamy. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held January 20, 2014 at11:00 am with David McDaniel officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
