Virginia "Jenny" Steele

Virginia "Jenny" Gray Steele, age 93, from Miamisburg passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022. She was born on October 9, 1928 to the late Edward Gray Sr. and Della Lanald Gray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Steele Jr.; son, James Steele III; three sisters, Chris Miller, Myrtie Tipton, Jeannie Witt; and two brothers, Marion Gray and Edward Gray Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Pam (Steve) Rich; son Tim (Shari) Steele; two grandsons, Jason and Sean Rich; three great-grandsons, Jason II, Jordan, and Tyler Rich; two great-great-grandsons, Braxton and Ryder Rich; five sisters, Pat Maddox, Teddy Arthur, Dorothy Case, Betty Shepherd and Darlene Sparks. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Jenny retired form GM Inland division after 30 years. She loved to read and had hundreds of books in her home. She also loved making flower arrangements for her family and friends. The most important thing to Jenny was her family, she enjoyed gathering with all of her children and grandchildren on birthdays and holidays. She loved spending time with her sisters, going to garage sales and thrift stores, or just setting on porch drinking wine with them. Jenny was a very loving and caring person. If she cared about you, she would do anything for you. Jenny was an angel on earth and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, October 3, 2022. Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Surber at 11:00 am. Jenny will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton.
