Virginia Sims

SIMS, Virginia M., 76, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord her Savior on January 4, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Sims and daughter Linda Sims. She was a member of the Miamisburg Senior Citizens Center, the Womens Health Initiative of Cincinnati and a 1946 graduate of Julienne High School. Virginia retired from Standard Register. She is survived by her children, Joy Armstrong of Dayton, Ken Sims and wife Carol of Union, Patricia Hasty and husband Robert of West Carrollton, Connie M. Sims of Las Vegas, NV, Gigi Pendergast and husband Kevin of Miamisburg, Gary Sims and wife Bobbie of Miamisburg, Ricky Sims and wife Gail of Dayton; 8 granddaughters; 4 great-granddaughters; sister, Mary Ann Henz and husband Dick of Dayton; brother, Dale Gebele and wife Ann Marie of Van Nuys, CA and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, January 7, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, January 8, 2005 at St. Henry Church 6666 Springboro Pike. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miamisburg Special Need Program, P.O. Box 464, Miamisburg, OH 45343 in Virginias memory
