Virginia Seer

Virginia "Ginny" Mae Seer, age 93 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Dayspring of Miami Valley. She was born in November 1926 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Arthur and Alice Butts.

Ginny loved her family and spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank J. Seer and John L. Underwood; son-in-law, Bruce R. Thompson; brother, Arthur "Buddy" Cetone.

Ginny will be missed by her loving daughters, Maria "Breezie" Thompson and Phyllis Brandt; four grandchildren, Joyce Shumaker, Barbie (Matt) Shomper, Darren (Helena) Brandt and Kelly (Bryan) Balemian; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kayla, Jackson, Brayden, Collette, Paige, Bobby, Bruce and Amanda.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Calvary Cemetery.

Ginny's family would like to give appreciation for the loving care shown by the staff at the Dayspring Healthcare & Rehab and the Miami Valley Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Ginny's memory to a charity of choice to support animal welfare.
