Virginia P. Armstrong
ARMSTRONG, Virginia P., age 88, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Avalon of Clearcreek. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abbie and Freda Leach; husband, Clarence Armstrong, and sisters, Thelma Colley, Florence Leach, and Donna Jennings.
Virginia is survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Hank) Mays and Freda Leach. She retired from General Motors in 1985 after 25 years of service. She was a long time member of Eastmont United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Rev. George Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Eastmont United Methodist Church or Hospice of Dayton.
